1. Data controller

2. What data we process

• Account data (if you sign in with Google, Apple or an email code): your email address and, where applicable, the name and profile picture your provider gives us.
• Data you enter: for example, your basketball profile, so we can give you personalised comparisons and analysis.
• Content you send to the assistant: your questions and, only if you choose to, your voice or a one-off image or video for us to analyse. Voice, images and video are processed to produce the answer and then discarded: they are not stored permanently and are never used to train models.
• Technical usage data: IP address, device type and server logs, needed to run and secure the service.

You can use most of the app without signing in; account data is only processed if you choose to create an account.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We use your data to authenticate you, provide the service, personalise your experience and keep it secure. The legal basis is the performance of the service you request and, where applicable, your consent.

4. Who processes it for us

We use providers acting as data processors: Supabase (database and authentication, in the EU), Vercel (hosting), Brevo (delivery of the emails carrying your sign-in code) and the sign-in providers you choose (Google, Apple).

For the AI features we use two providers, and the app asks for your permission before the first time anything is sent:

• Anthropic (Claude): processes your questions to the assistant and any image or video you choose to have analysed, solely to produce the answer.
• OpenAI: transcribes your voice when you talk to the assistant and generates the voice that answers you.

5. Retention

We keep your data for as long as you keep your account or as long as it is needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete it at any time, including from inside the app.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, write to hola@sportiveworld.com.

7. Cookies

We only use essential cookies: strictly the ones needed to keep you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Audience measurement is cookie-free (Vercel Web Analytics) and does not identify you or follow you across sites. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to accept or reject.

8. Minors

SportiveWorld is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; any change will be published here with its update date.
