Who changes
their team
How much better — or worse — a team is with each player on the floor. In the NBA this has existed for twenty years. In the EuroLeague, the EuroCup, Primera FEB and Liga Femenina nobody was publishing it, because you need the play-by-play to know who was on the court for every basket. We rebuilt it from more than a million and a half lines of play-by-play.

How it was calculated, and what it does not say
- The game is followed play by play: who starts (from the box score), who comes in and who goes out. Every basket is shared between the five from each team who were on the floor at that moment.
- The figure is the differential per 100 points played: if it says +8, his team gains eight more points than it concedes for every hundred scored with him on the floor, compared with what happens when he sits.
- It does not say one player is better than another. It depends enormously on who he plays with and against: a bench player who always shares the floor with the starters comes out looking good. It is a question, not a verdict — it is for spotting where something odd is happening.
